Every fashion major at Lasell college holds their breath with anticipation for their junior year, the year when their Ethnic wear will be developed. The ethnic wear is intended to be a couture garment that reflects the designer's personal ethnic background, designer Martha Powell chose to focus her ethnic wear on her English heritage and the fascination with the grim reaper the Victorian's held during the tuberculosis epidemic of the late 19th century.
