Do you want to be a part of this collection too? Well we need your help!

Here are Martha's 8 designs. What we need you to do is to look at each outfit. In a comment, let us know A) what part of the circus you think each outfit represents; B) what the relationship of each girl is to the man; and C) what you think the overall theme of the show is.

Remember-- there are NO WRONG ANSWERS! We want the feedback of our very own Dahls and Dahlies so that we know we're on the right track!

Your help is essential to the show, so please drop us a line~!

A)
1. Stage/Circus Tent
2. Tightrope Walker
3. The animals in the show
4. Clown
5. I'm not sure. ^^;
6. Lion Tamer
7. Ring Leader
8. It makes me think of Carousel. ^^; Perhaps the stage is the first girl is meant to represent the circus tent.

B)
To me it seems as though the girls represent the attractions put on by the ringleader. Most (if not all) of the girls look sad or hesitant, almost as if a lot of them do not want to be there or just don't care. In contrast, the Ringleader is drawn with a sort of smirk, which I think shows his ownership of the show. In addition, in my opinion the girls all have doll-like appearances, almost as if they're his puppets more than anything.

C) Besides the obvious theme of circus, I see a motif of Illusion, but that's my perception based on the facial expressions and stances of each drawn model. The circus is regarded as a strange and whimsical place, though each female looks uninterested or sad (as stated above). So I'm not quite sure why or if any of this is intelligible, but I get the vibe of "Illusion".
